Don
Hart spoke to club members about cane carving. He cuts branches
from Chinese Tallow trees that form the shape of the cane he wants. He draws the
patterns on mylar. If he can't get to the uncarved cane right
after pulling from the tree, Don places the cane in the deep freezer
which slows the hardening process thus making carving an easier task.
