FREE TREES:

I have two Avocado trees in my back yard which need to be removed this spring ASAP.
Someone could harvest one log about 14 inches in diameter and 10 feet high, and 5 or 6 logs similar length from 6 inches to 10 inches in diameter.
If you are not familiar with Avocado wood, it is pure white, hard, and finishes good.  

I can furnish a reference of a person in the craft business who used it and has since retired. 
It is FREE if you wish to harvest it.  

You can come and cut off as piece to examine if that would be helpful.  

I just don't want this to wind up in a landfill if someone can make use of it.

FOR SALE:

I have a stack of rough cut quarter sawn "white" oak (quercus virginiana).  

I cut it myself and kiln dried it about 10 years ago.  

It has been "air stacked" and in storage since that time.  

Each board is 1-2" X 8-16" x 8-10 feet long.  

One board is a 3"x4"x 8 foot beam.  

I would rather trade it to somebody who will make a blanket chest for my wife.
